Marilynne Bainbridge

Marilynne was born and brought up in London. She has lived and worked in Surrey since she married.

She worked for a long time in Banking and computing and after having her two sons she went into Education with 24 years in Special Needs. She has four grandchildren who keep her on her toes!

She felt that all this gave her some useful experience when asked to join the Trust when it was created in 2009.

Christina Pearce

With over 25 years of experience in the charity sector, Christina has dedicated her career to promoting health and welfare within her community.

Since 2020, she has served as a trustee of The Betty Riseley Trust for Children, a role that reflects her deep commitment to supporting causes that enhance quality of life and wellbeing for those in need.

Her lifelong connection to Surrey has strengthened her passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others locally.

James Lamont

James is a partner at Hart Brown solicitors and head of their corporate team.

He previously held the role of chair of governors at Ewhurst C of E infants School and is a former trustee of the Brain & Spine Foundation and the Childrens’ Football Alliance.

In addition to his current role with the Betty Riseley Trust for Children, he is a trustee with the Boltini Trust and the Woodspring Trust.

Margaret Jack

Margaret Jack has been a trustee ever since the trust began in 2009. She is very well travelled with her husband including spending much time in the United States of America. She worked for a long time at Hart Brown and since retirement has been a trustee of various local charities.
